Boos against Sanchez to stop: Wenger

CAIRO - 10 September 2017: Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger believes that the boos from the fans against Alexis Sanchez will stop.

“Alexis Sanchez will win the fans back, and will win them back very quickly,” Wenger told the press on Saturday.

Alexis Sanchez participated as a substitute in Arsenal 3-0 victory over Bournemouth in the fourth round of the Premier League. Arsenal fans welcomed their biggest star with whistles and cheers.

Arsenal fans’ boos came after the player's desire to leave the club this summer to join their opponent, Manchester City, was forced to continue with the team after the club refused to sell him.

Wenger added, “We have to accept responses from people. The best way to get them on your side is to perform.”

Arsenal fans insulted the team after their poor performance against Liverpool in the third round of the Premier League when Liverpool defeated Arsenal 4-0.

Arsenal collected six points from four games, they won Leicester City and Bournemouth, and they also lost to Stoke City and Liverpool.
