CAIRO - 9 September 2017: Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is happy with the performance of Real Madrid midfielder Francisco Román Alarcón, known as Isco. Perez confirmed they will keep the player inside the squad as long as they can.
“We will be announcing his contract renewal in the coming days, a renewal which is a done deal.” Perez told El Larguero' programme on Cadena Ser Radio Station.
Isco shined with Real Madrid last season, participating in Madrid’s winning Spanish League and UEFA Champions League titles.
Perez, who signed Isco in 2013, praised the player, saying, “Isco arrived here when he was very young and all he has done is improve; he is currently playing as we believed he would turn out.”
Isco, 25 years old, joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013. He failed to earn a regular place with former Real Madrid managers Carlo Ancelotti and Rafael Benitez, but the player won a starting place under Zinedine Zidane.
