Cairo-5 September 2017-Héctor Cúper, the Egyptian national team coach, announced his squad for the match against Uganda on Tuesday evening at Borg Al Arab Stadium in the 4th qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup.

Egypt lost their third round match against Uganda 1-0 on Thursday, seeking revenge today and keeping their hopes of qualifying for the third time in their history after 1934 and 1990.

The formation of the Egyptian team as follows:

Goalkeeper: Essam El-Hadary

Defenders: Ahmed Fathi - Ahmed Hegazy – Ramy Rabia – Mohamed Abdel Shafy

Midfielders : Mohamed ElNeny – Tarek Hamed – Abdallah El-Saied

Forwards: Mohamed Salah – Amr Gamal – Ramadan Sobhi

Uganda are top of Group E with 7 points, while Egypt are in second place with 6 points. The group also includes Ghana in the 3rd place with 5 points and Congo in the 4th place with a single point.
