Basketball team off to Tunisia in preparation for Afrobasket

CAIRO – 2 September 2017: Egyptian volleyball national team flew on Saturday to Tunisia to play friendlies with Tunisia in preparations for Basketball Afrobasket which will be held in Senegal.

The men's basketball team left for Tunisia Saturday morning for friendly matches with the Tunisian team as part of preparations for the Afrobasket in Dakar, Senegal, which will take place from September 8 to 16 and qualifies for the World Cup 2018.

The basketball team is scheduled to travel to Senegal on September 6 for the first round of the Afrobasket on 8, 9 and 10 of the same month. The team will face Mozambique, Senegal and South Africa respectively.
