Pulis started the season well – Reuters
CAIRO – 28 August 2017: West Bromwich Albion’s manager, Tony Pulis, wants to sign three more players to strengthen the team squad and compete in the Premier League this season with the big fish.
“Chairman has just come in, and we're hoping we can bring the players in to improve the group. And the group, as you've seen today without Evans, Chadli, and McAuley, we've got important players missing so these lads have done absolutely fantastic,” Pulis told reporters after the draw against Stoke City at home.
West Bromwich signed five players this summer; Jay Rodriguez, Oliver Burke, Zhang Yuning, Gareth Barry and Ahmed Hegazi.
Pulis added, “we know the specific areas we want, and we know two or three of the players as well."
West Bromwich are afraid of losing their big star, Jonny Evans, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City.
Pulis hopes to keep Evans inside his squad, saying, “hopefully he will remain with us."
Pulis led West Bromwich to two victories and a draw in the first three Premier League fixtures.
