Marwan Mohsen to travel to Germany

CAIRO –26 August 2017: Al Ahly striker Marwan Mohsen is expected to travel to Germany by the end of next week in order to make sure that he has fully recovered from the ACL injury he received in January.

According to Al Ahly’s media center, Mohsen is expected to train with the team following his return from Germany.

Khaled Mahmoud, Al Ahly medical staff member, claimed that the doctors in Germany believe the reason behind Mohsen’s late recovery from the injury is that it now takes nine months instead of six to recover from that severe injury.

Marwan Mohsen got injured while participating with the Egyptian national team in the 2017 African Cup of Nations in January. However, the striker has not yet fully recovered from the injury.
