Domestics have nothing but win to qualify for CHAN

CAIRO –18 August 2017: The Egyptian National Team for domestic players will play on Friday at 9:00 p.m. against their Moroccan counterpart in the final phase of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers, which will be held in Kenya.

The two teams have previously faced each other on August 13 in Egypt at Alexandria stadium. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. The second leg of the match will be held at Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.

The Pharaohs also faced setbacks in training, such as when the head coach of the Egyptian team Hamada Sidqi, who had to finish a training session in the sub-pitch of the stadium due to a lack of lighting.

Despite the difficulty of the match and the setbacks the Pharaohs endured in training, the team is playing to win. Nothing short of a victory will secure their place at the CAF African Nations Championship.
