Baro wins Egyptian Autocross 2017

CAIRO –18 August 2017:-The official Facebook page of the Egyptian Autocross posted their race results on Tuesday August 15. The race held at the North Coast, Egypt on August 10-11.

Autocross 2017 saw many challenges. Ibrahim 'Baro' Emad won the tournament by achieving the least time than Khaled Imam of the Golden Group and Haytham Samir of the Silver Group. He also became one of the Autocross legends.



The final qualifying round of the Autocross 2017 tournament was held at the Platform, with 64 participants divided into eight groups, whereby 32 racers were promoted to the finals the following day.

The result after counting the total of times, Ibrahim 'Baro' Emad secured victory over Khalid Imam by 0.01 seconds, which has not ever happened before in the history of the Autocross races.



The Autocross race competition started in Egypt in February 1990, and it has taken place each year since. The participants love to drive and participate in the timed automobile race. The race also uses conventional cars and takes place within a closed circuit track.
