Neymar is happier than ever

15 August 2017 Neymar Jr Da Silva feels happy at Paris Saint Germain, he said after his debut with his new club.

“I am very calm. I knew it would be difficult to leave Barcelona, but I am very happy to be here. People think that to leave Barcelona is to die, but it is just the opposite and I am more alive than ever,” Neymar told reporters after his team’s 3-0 victory over Guingamp in the French Ligue.

Neymar’s debut with Paris Saint Germain was promising; the player scored, assisted and had a great performance on the field.

Neymar spoke about his new companion in the attacking line, Edinson Cavani, saying, “I knew that Cavani was a great player. I have known that for a long time, and now that we are playing together, I will try to get to understand how he plays.”

Neymar doesn’t feel much different between Barcelona and Paris, as he said, "I am happy to play, and the football is the same; just a change of country, city and team. It's great to play with Di Maria, Verratti, Motta, Dani Alves and with all the players here."

Neymar left Barcelona to join Paris Saint Germain after the French club, owned by Qatari businessman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, paid his buy-out clause of €222 million ($261M).
