Henry played many games alongside David - sofoot.com
15 August 2017 Thierry Henry, former French legend, spoke well about his teammate, David Trezeguet, on Monday, revealing that Trezeguet is the best striker he has ever played with.
“David Trezeget is the best finisher I have ever seen; I have never seen like that before in my life,” Henry said during an Exclusive interview.
Henry supported his opinion with evidence, saying, “The best example for me is the goal he scored at the 2000 UEFA EURO; he took a step back to generate power of his left foot; how hard is that?”
Henry imagined if he shot that ball instead of Trezeguet, saying, “If it’s me, I wouldn’t know where the ball would have gone.”
Henry, 39 years old, added, “The game is not only about run, fight; the game is played also by brains, but people underestimate the power of the brain.”
Thierry shared Monaco’s attacking line with Trezeguet for four years from 1995 to 1999; they also won FIFA World Cup 1998 and EUFA EURO 2000 with the French National team.
