CAIRO –15 August 2017: Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera celebrates his 28th birthday on Monday. Herrera celebrates his 28th birthday while having one of his best seasons on the field with Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho. They are paying tribute to his professional level with the players of the team.
Herrera is close to renewing his contract with the Red Devils. Manchester will modify Herrera’s contract as a reward for rejecting an offer in this summer’s transfer market.
The Spaniard participated in 50 games last season in various tournaments, including 31 games in the Premier League, recording 3,990 minutes of participations in the last season.
He scored two goals and assisted another 11 goals for his teammates. Herrera joined Manchester United in 2014 from Athletic Bilbao in a free transfer deal. He played 123 matches with the team, scored 15 goals and assisted 22 others.
