Al Ahly SC squad announced ahead of Egyptian Cup final

CAIRO – 14August 2017: Al Ahly SC announced the team’s squad list ahead of their upcoming match against Al Masry SC in the final of the Egyptian Cup.

Hossam El Badry selected the following 23 players to enter a private camp to prepare for the Al Masry SC game on August 15:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Mohamed El Shenawy, Ahmed Adel Abdelmoneim

Defenders: Ali Maaloul, Ramy Rabea, Mohamed Nagiub, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Hany, Bassem Ali, Sabry Raheel

Midfielders: Amr El Sulaya, Hossam Ashour, Hossam Ghaly, Walid Soliman, Abdallah El Saied, Moman Zakeria, Salah Gomaa, Ahmed Hammoudi, Mido Gaber, Akram Tawfik

Strikers: Emad Moteab, Amr Gamal, Junior Ajayi

Saad Samir and Karim Nedved did not make the squad due to picking up injuries earlier this month. Moreover, El Badry did not pick Amr Barakat, Hussein El Sayed and Amr Radwan due to technical reasons.

Al Ahly will go head to head against Al Masry SC in the Egyptian Cup final on August 15 at Borg El Arab Stadium at 8 p.m. local time.
