Ahmed Hegazy: It is a very good win

CAIRO – 12 August 2017: Ahmed Hegazy, West Bromwich Albion defender, spoke on 12 August following West Bromwich’s 1-0 victory over Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old defender told West Bromwich’s official website about his thoughts on the game along with addressing the importance of the victory.

Hegazy started, “It is a very good win and a fantastic feeling. To start well was very important for us. The clean sheet is the first thing you think about as a defender. It’s very important to the team."

Hegazy concluded, “The first game is always very important for the team and for the start of the season. We can take enormous confidence from this."

Hegazy scored West Bromwich’s only goal in the game. That goal clinched a precious 1-0 victory against Bournemouth in the first game of the Premier League this season.

The Egyptian International defender is expected to play with West Bromwich in their upcoming match against Burnley in the second Premier League fixture of the season on 19 August.
