Amr Gamal wants to play more to prove himself to Cuper – Egypt Today
CAIRO -12 August 2017: Al Ahly striker Amr Gamal will travel to South Africa to join his new club Bidvest Wits on Wednesday or Tuesday, Gamal’s agent Mohamed Habshy spoke on Saturday to Egypt Today.
Amr Gamal is 26-year-old and will play his last match with Al Ahly against Al Masry at Egyptian Cup Final on Tuesday.
“Gamal will sign his contract with Bidvest Wits in the next few hours, Al Ahly will receive $250 dollars for a one-year loan. Al Ahly will negotiate with the South African Club and then decide to buy the player,” Habshy continued to Egypt Today.
Al Ahly refused the first offer Bidvest Wits, but the club raised their offer to satisfy Al Ahly’s demands.
Gamal asked Al Ahly Club President, Mahmoud Taher to allow him to leave. Gamal’s chances to have a regular place on Al Ahly’s squad minimized after Al Ahly signed Moroccan Striker, Walid Azaro.
Amr Gamal wants to play more to prove himself to the national team manager Hector Cuper. Gamal wants to be on the Egyptian squad for 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
