Date and Stadium announced for Egypt’s match against Congo

CAIRO –11 August 2017:The Egyptian FA announced on August 10 the date and the stadium of Egypt’s fifth match in the group stages of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Speaking to the website of the Egyptian FA, Ihab Lehaita, board member of the Egyptian FA, revealed the date and the stadium of Egypt’s match against Congo Brazzaville in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.

Lehaita told the website, “The Egyptian FA decided that the match will be played on October 8 at Borg Al Arab stadium.”

The Egyptian national team will play two matches against Uganda on August 31 and September 5 in the third and fourth rounds of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Then, Egypt will face Congo Brazzaville on October 8 in the 5th match before playing against Ghana in the last match of the group stages in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Egypt takes the lead in the 5th group with 6 points, Uganda in second place with 4 points and Ghana in third place with 3 points followed by Congo with 0 points.
