Kolasinac is strong as an animal: Wenger

10 August 2017:Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is so happy with Sead Kolasinac’s performance against Chelsea in FA Community Shield.

“He has the force of an animal, certainly. But I just think that Kolasinac is a good player and that he has an attitude that is suited to the Premier League,” Wenger told reporters in a press conference held on Wednesday.

Kolasinac scored Arsenal’s equalizing goal against Chelsea last Sunday when Arsenal defeated Chelsea on penalties to win their first title in the season.

Wenger added “ In our club, that is vital. Every time we win the ball, we want to play and he is available to play.”

Asked about the team’s performance against Chelsea, Wenger answered, “The quality of the performance was a continuity of our end of season, where we had a strong finish. Overall, we looked to have the desire to play, hunger to play together and to win. These are very interesting qualities.”

Arsenal opens their Premier League campaign against Leicester City on Friday night at their stadium, ”Emirates”, in London.
