CAIRO – 8 August 2017 – The official Facebook page of the Egyptian Autocross posted their race system on Tuesday. The race will be held at the North Coast, Egypt on August 10 and 11.
The Autocross race competition started in Egypt in February 1990, and it has taken place each year since. The participants love to drive and participate in the timed automobile race. The race also uses conventional cars and takes place within a closed circuit track.
On the first day of the tournament, the cars will be checked and classified in eight different classes. Each driver will participate in two rounds, and the best time of the two rounds will be registered. There are 32 drivers and they will choose the top four best race times from each class.
The first day ends with honoring each champion from each class with LE 2,000 ($113). A draw will be held that will put the first and second of each class in a race, and the fourth and the third of each class in another race. The second day starts with the pro competitions, which are the races between the first and second place drivers. It is supposed to be the most competitive race of the tournament. Finally, the third and fourth place drivers will face each other in the semi-pro competitions.
