Badry speaks ahead of Al-Ahly against Smouha SC

CAIRO –7 August 2017: Hossam al-Badry, Al-Ahly coach, spoke to Al-Ahly’s official website on August 6 ahead of Al-Ahly’s match in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Cup.
Badry told the club’s official website about the team’s preparations for their upcoming match against Smouha SC in the Egyptian Cup.

Badry told the website, “The team knows the importance of the upcoming match especially that it is in the advanced stages of the tournament. All the players are ready for the game especially that Smouha were one of the teams that performed really well last season.”

He added to the website, “We studied and analyzed Smouha very well in order to be ready for this important.”

On a similar note, Al-Ahly’s football director Said Abdel Hafeez told Yallakora that Saad Samir will not be ready for the game due to him recovering from an injury. Also, Al-Ahly’s right back Ahmed Fathy will not participate in the match as a result of receiving many yellow cards recently.

Al-Ahly is set to play against Smouha SC next Wednesday at 8 p.m. local time in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Cup. The winner is expected to play against the winner between Zamalek SC and Al-Masry SC.
