Salah is the best signing of EPL: Michael Owen

CAIRO – 5 August 2017: Veteran Liverpool striker Michael Owen spoke on August 4 about the best signing during this year’s transfer window.

Talking to the official website of the Premier League, Owen said that he believes Egyptian Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is the best signing of the season.

Owen started talking to website by saying, “Mohamed Salah is a really good signing. He didn’t quite nail it at Chelsea, but he was young at the time.”

Owen concluded, saying, “He’s gone away and had success at Roma, and if you’re an attacking player with loads of pace, then you’re valuable. Liverpool is looking like a team with a really potent attack.”

On a similar note, FourFourTwo website named Mohamed Salah as the 2nd best signing in the Premier League this season, while Ahmed Hegazy was named the 10th best. The website praised the performance of Hegazy last season, especially his performance with the Egyptian national team in the 2017 African Cup of Nations.

It is worth mentioning that Mohamed Salah (Liverpool FC), Ahmed Hegazy (West Bromwich Albion), Ramadan Sobhy (Stoke City FC) and Mohamed El Neny are the four Egyptian international players who will participate in the English Premier League.
