Al-Khelaifi refuses to talk about Neymar movement

CAIRO – 2 August 2017: Paris Saint Germain Club President Nasser Al-Khelaifi refused to leave any comment about Neymar da Silva’s process of moving to Paris in an interview with Medi1 TV on Tuesday.

Al-Khelaifi spoke about Neymar’s situation, saying, “Neymar is a Barcelona player; we will see what happens, but I respect players’ contracts with their club.”

Al-Khelaifi seems so happy in the interview speaking about Neymar, as he said, “Neymar is a great star; no one can doubt this fact, but he is still a Barcelona player.”

Asked about the chances of Neymar going to Paris, he said, “I don’t want to talk about this subject anymore.”

Al-Khelaifi is a Qatari businessman who owns Paris Saint Germain Club, and since buying the club, he has signed many big names in football.

There have been rumors about Neymar leaving Barcelona to join Paris Saint Germain for €222 million ($ 262 million). He is expected to be a Qatar 2022 World Cup ambassador.
