Sahl Hasheesh hosts World 6Red, Team Snooker Championship

CAIRO – 1 August 2017: The 2017 IBSF World 6Red and Team Snooker Championship held in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt will start on Tuesday evening with the participation of 120 players of both genders from 20 countries from all over the world.

The Egyptian Federation of Billiards Sports had hosted before the Snooker World Championship for two times in 2002 and 2005, so it is expected to be a well organized tournament but the new thing in this tournament is that it is held in the beautiful city of Sahl Hasheesh for the first time.

The president of the African Federation and the secretary of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association Mohamed al-Qammah will attend the opening ceremony of the championship along with Amr al-Kharadly, the president of the Egyptian and the Arabic snooker federations, and the officials of the Egyptian Federation of Billiards sports.
