CAIRO - 31 July 2017: Croatia won 8-6 over host nation, Hungary, on Saturday in the Water Polo final to achieve their second title in the history of the World Aquatics Championships.

“We showed character during these two weeks, I think our belief in victory the whole time is what made us this strong," Croatian forward, Luka Loncar spoke after the victory.

Croatia had an amazing start in the final leading the first quarter 4-0, but Hungary returned to the game in the second quarter with a 2-0 win. Both the third and fourth quarters ended 2-2, with Croatia wining the game 8-6.
