Hossam el-Badry: Al-Ahly does not fear any opponent

CAIRO – 30 July2017: Hossam el-Badry, Al-Ahly SC manager, spoke on July 30 regarding some of the team’s important issues in the upcoming period.

Badry talked to Al-Ahly’s official website about the advanced stages of the Arab Club Championship, the team he expects to face ahead of the semi-finals draw on July 31 and the new players that recently joined Al-Ahly and what he expects from them.

He told the club’s website, “The team is preparing for the semi-finals of the Arab Club Championship. We respect all the opponents but we don’t fear any of them and we are ready to play against any team.”

Badry concluded to the website saying, “I am satisfied of the performance of the newcomers like Walid Azaro and Islam Mohareb. The way they played in the last two matches showed that they have all what takes to be successful. All the new players are talented and I expect from them to show me their quality in the upcoming games.”

Al-Ahly SC managed to qualify to the next round after coming second in their group after Al-Faisaly SC from Jordan. Al-Ahly SC is expected to play against one of the following teams in the semi-finals of the Arab Club Championship: Fath Union Sport, Al-Faisaly SC or Esperance FC.

It is good to mention that the Arab Club Championship is held in Egypt from July 22 to August 5.
