Egypt loses from Poland in beach handball

CAIRO – 27 July 2017- The beach handball team lost to Poland on Thursday at the end of group stage matches at the World Games held in Warsaw, Poland.

The match ended in favor of the Polish team on their home with two sets (26-11, 24-7), the Egyptian National Team started off their first match in the tournament with a 2-0 loss in the two halves against Croatia before repeating the same result on the same day, but against Hungry.

The national team consists of 5 players who are Shaban Jaber, Mahmoud Al-Saeed, Salim Sulaiman, Ahmed Mohammed and Ali Hassanein.

Eight national teams are participating in the World Games divided in two groups, the Egyptian national team plays in Group A, which includes Croatia, Poland, Egypt and Hungary, the second group includes Brazil, Greece, Australia and the Qatar.
