Cazorla injury updates wasn't good for Arsena fans- Reuters
CAIRO - 28 July 2017: Santi Cazorla, Spanish midfielder, doesn't know his recovery time but he believes he will return soon to participate in the matches with his club, Arsenal.
"I don't know how long it will take, but I'm convinced that I'll be back soon, each time I leave the operating theatre, I think that everything will be fine and I'll be back again," Cazorla told Radio station, Onda Cero on Thursday.
Cazorla didn't play a single game with Arsenal since Arsenal 6-0 win over Ludogorets in October 2016.
Cazorla, 32 years spoke about his medical situation, he said "The doctors have told me that a case like mine is one that they probably won't see again for a long time as it is unusual for an athlete, I had no strength in my tendon or muscle mass."
Cazorla added "Everyday my son asks me if I will play again because he really wants to see me out on the pitch again and I really hope that it will happen soon."
Cazorla moved to Arsenal from Malaga in 2012, he won three FA Cups with the club since that time.
