Pires Praises Salah and El Neny

CAIRO – 28 July 2017: Arsenal veteran Robert Pires praised Arsenal midfielder Mohamed el-Neny and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, discussing the important qualities they both have and how they are capable of playing in Europe’s biggest teams in an interview with DMC Sports on July 26.

When asked about el-Neny, Pires said, “I love el-Neny because he is an excellent player. He has a good spirit with a professional mindset. I believe he deserves to participate more in the matches, but I am not Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, to make that decision.”

He gave an advice to el-Neny, saying, “I think the most important thing that el-Neny has to do is to stay focused and concentrate during matches. Additionally, I think that Mohamed is a very professional player that is well educated and thinks well. I think he is an important player.”

Pires concluded saying, “If we talk about el-Neny or Salah, both players are very good and have the capability to play in Europe’s biggest clubs. Both players perform really well in Arsenal and Liverpool along with their great performance with the Egyptian National Team. I believe that the quality they show while playing is very well.”

Mohamed el-Neny joined Arsenal in January 2016, after showing his quality at ACF Fiorentina in the Italian League. While, Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool FC during this transfer window after spending two years at the Italian giants AS Roma.
