Ayoub speaks ahead of NA Hussein-Dey match

CAIRO – 27 July 2017: Ahmed Ayoub, Al-Ahly’s coach, spoke on July 27 ahead of Al-Ahly’s upcoming match against NA Hussein-Dey on July 28 in the Arab Club Championship.

Speaking to the reporters in the pre-match press conference, Ayoub talked about the importance of the upcoming match and the players that are expected to play.

Ayoub began saying, “The team hopes to win in the upcoming match in order to increase their chances in qualifying to the next round in order to compete in this tournament. The match will be difficult since both teams have the same chances in qualifying to the next round. “

Ayoub continued saying, “We rested some key players in the team in order to give some play time to the other players in the team. We are planning to play the match with the players who participated in the two matches against Al-Faisaly SC and Al-Wahda SC; however, there might be some slight changes based on the coaching staff’s opinion led by Hossam al-Badry.”

Ayoub concluded his talk saying, “The players will be concentrating to win the match and they are doing their best in order to raise their chances to qualify to the next round.”
Al-Ahly SC lost their first match against Al-Faisaly SC before winning their second match against Al-Wahda SC in the group stages of the Arab Club Championship.
