ON Sport to air the Classico

CAIRO – 26 July 2017: ON Sport announced on July 26 that it will air the upcoming match (Classico) between Barcelona and Real Madrid on August 13 and August 16.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are set to go head to head against each other in the Spanish Super Cup on August 13 and August 16.

The Egyptian TV Sports channel released a statement saying that“from the moment we entered the Egyptian media field, we knew the huge hardships that we were going to face in this area in order to achieve what we dream of to make our fans satisfied. We believe that what we accomplished in less than a year shows that. We did not stop at presenting all that concerns our fans in all areas, often exclusively and with advanced tools.”

“After all the successes we have achieved, we decided to set new goals in order to achieve one of the biggest dreams for our fans. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that we are going to air one the most important international matches that is known as the Earth’s Classico between the two greatest teams in the history of football: Real Madrid and Barcelona on your favorite TV Channel in order to let all people enjoy the match. Fortunately, they are two classic matches and not one in the Spanish Super Cup which are going to be played in two of the world’s famous stadiums: Santiago Bernabeu and the Camp Nou,” On Sport said.

The statement also acknowledged the work of Abu Dhabi Sports Media Company, promising a great coverage of the game with advanced tools from both stadiums the Camp Nou and the Bernabeu.

ON Sports is considered to be one of the leading sports TV Channels in Egypt. They have previously reached an agreement with Abu Dhabi Sports channel to obtain some rights from the UAE Sports Channel.
