Zamalek faces Al-Ahed SC on Alexandria stadium

CAIRO – 26 July 2017: Zamalek SC meets the Lebanese Al-Ahed SC on Wednesday in the second round of group stage of the Arab Championship.

The teams will face each other at 9 p.m. Cairo local time at Alexandria stadium, Zamalek and Al-Ahed are playing in group B, which is the only group that all its teams are even.

Each team has only one point after the first round, Zamalek tied in the first round Fath Union Sport the Moroccan with two goals each. Bassem Morsy and Shikabala scored Zamalek goals, while Mohamed Lamine Diakite scored both goals of Fath.

While Al-Ahed FC has tied with the fourth team of the group the Saudi Al Nassr FC with one goal for each team scored by Yahya Al-Shehri in 37 minute of the game while Abrahema Diop tied for Al-Ahed in 48 minute.

Zamalek against Al-Ahed might be the last game for the Portuguese Augusto Inacio as the head coach of the team, it is expected to discharge Inacio by the president of Zamalek Mortada Mansour after the last statements Inacio said on the pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
