Hany Ramzy signed a contract to manage Al-Ittihad – Egypt Today
CAIRO -26 July 2017: Egyptian Coach Hany Ramzy signed with Al-Ittihad Sporting Club on Sunday. He agreed to manage the club for the next season.
Ramzy is 48-years-old and will start in a decisive match against Morocco in the 2018 African Nations Championship qualifiers.
Ramzy is a former Egyptian International player. He had a long journey in Football with Al-Ahly and abroad. He played on a Swiss Club in Neuchâtel Xamax before joining Werder Bremen in Germany.
Ramzy’s journey in Germany was the best of his career. He played four years with Werder Bremen, seven years with FC Kaiserslautern, and he played his last year in football with FC Saarbrücken.
Ramzy started his management career in Enppi. Previously he was the coach for the Egyptian national team U-20 during the 2012 games in London. They qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Ramzy coached Lierse S.K for one year, and then he went on to coached Wadi Degla, Enppi and Dubai.
Ramzy is one of the most promising coaches in Egyptian football, and he is expected to add strength to Al-Ittihad Club.
