CAIRO, January 15, 2025: German newspaper "Bild" has revealed details of Manchester City's official offer to Eintracht Frankfurt for Egyptian national team star Omar Marmoush during the current winter transfer window.

The renowned German publication reported that Manchester City submitted a €70 million bid for Marmoush. However, Eintracht Frankfurt's management has rejected the offer, as they are holding out for €80 million.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, known for his transfer news expertise, confirmed via his official "X" account on Tuesday that Manchester City made an official bid for Marmoush. Romano noted, "Manchester City's offer is below Eintracht Frankfurt's expectations, but negotiations are ongoing, and there is optimism."

In the same context, English media reports have indicated that Liverpool and Arsenal are closely monitoring the ongoing negotiations between Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt for Marmoush. According to "Caught Offside," while Manchester City remains confident about finalizing the deal, the high price tag and Frankfurt's reluctance to sell are significant hurdles.

The report added, "Liverpool and Arsenal are also keeping an eye on Marmoush's situation. Despite Manchester City appearing to be the frontrunner, Marmoush's outstanding performances in the Bundesliga this season justify the hefty price tag. At 25 years old, he has proven himself capable of playing for top clubs worldwide."

The article concluded, "Arsenal, in particular, could benefit from a forward like Marmoush, making their interest unsurprising, even if the deal currently seems unlikely for them."
