CAIRO – 30 November 2024: Egypt's First Lady Entissar Amer has expressed her joy and pride in Hana Gouda's historic accomplishment of the bronze medal at the Under-19 ITTF World Youth Championships 2024.

“I am delighted with the champion Hana Gouda on this historic achievement as the first Egyptian, Arab, and African player to win a medal at the World U19 Table Tennis Championship,” Amer said in a social media post on Saturday.

“I wish you continued excellence and success,” the first lady conveyed in her message to the talented athlete.

The ITTF World Youth Championships 2024, held in Helsingborg, has concluded with historic milestones and exceptional performances across various categories.

In the U19 Girls’ Singles, Annett Kaufmann won Germany’s forst-ever fold in this category after defeating China’s Zong Geman 4-2. Meanwhile, Hana Goda made history by winning a bronze medal, marking the first U19 Singles medal for Africa in the championships.
