CAIRO, 2024 August 21: The Judo Federation, led by Marzouq Ali, is organizing a sports championship as part of the El Alamein Festival, which will take place from July 11 to August 30.
The Arab Judo Championship will be held during the festival from August 24 to 30, featuring competitions for the buds, youth, and juniors age groups.
In the next two days, the Judo Federation is expected to announce further details about the championship, including the number of participating countries and the number of male and female athletes. Last year, the Federation hosted the Arab Championship during the festival's first edition, which saw significant participation from various countries and was hailed as a great success.
The new management of the El Alamein Festival, now in its second edition, has announced that 60% of the festival's profits will be donated to Palestine, as highlighted on the official festival poster.
