Egyptian Olympic team continue preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games

CAIRO, July 22, 2024: The Egyptian Olympic team performed their training session, in preparation for the kickoff at the 2024 Paris Olympics, when it meets the Dominican Republic next Wednesday at 06:00 PM Cairo time in the first round of the third group of the tournament.

 

The training was intense, in an Olympic atmosphere, and under the supervision of the Supreme Olympic Organizing Committee, as the team trained in Olympic stadiums and stayed in an Olympic hotel.

 

The training was led by Brazilian Micali, the coach of the Olympic team, and witnessed various segments that began with a physical segment supervised by Leonardo, the fitness coach, then some technical exercises that were held with the Brazilian Thiago, the general coach, Adel Mustafa, the coach, and Sayed Al-Sowerki, the goalkeepers’ coach, led independent training for the goalkeepers: Hamza Alaa, Ali Al-Jabri, and Muhammad Siha. .

 

In addition to the Dominican Republic, the Pharaohs group includes the teams of Uzbekistan and Spain.

Egypt faces the Dominicans on July 24 at 6 pm.

Egypt faces Uzbekistan on July 27 at 6 pm.

Egypt faces Spain on July 30 at 4 pm.

 

The delegation included 22 players:

Goalkeepers: Hamza Alaa, Ali Al-Jabri, and Mohamed Siha.

Defenders: Hossam Abdel Majeed, Omar Fayed, Mohamed Tariq, Ahmed Eid, Karim Al-Dabis, Mohamed Maghribi, Ahmed Sayed Abdel Nabi, and Mohamed Hamdi.

Midfielders: Mohamed Al-Nani, Mahmoud Saber, Ahmed Nabil Koka, and Ziad. Kamal and Mohamed Shehata.

Attackers: Ahmed Sayed Zizou, Ibrahim Adel, Osama Faisal, Bilal Mazhar, Mostafa Messi and Ahmed Kotta.
