Adam Petty can't get enough from success- Petty Twitter account
23 July 2017:Adam Petty, British Olympic swimmer, spoke on Saturday about his desire to be better before his participation in the World Swimming Championships in Budapest.
“My motivation is off the charts and what I want to achieve is up here,” Petty told reporters according to thetimes.com
Petty talked about his desire for success, telling The Times, “People say to me I've won the grand slam of swimming, got all the world records and stuff like that, but for me that doesn't make me comfortable; I am not comfortable being the best; I want to be the best by a large margin. I still haven't got that margin yet."
Petty added, “I feel like 'defend' is a bit laissez-faire; it's like a little bit chilled; whereas I just want to go out and attack and fight off any challengers."
Petty is the 50m and 100m breaststroke World Record holder and he won the 100m breaststroke Olympic gold medal in Rio 2016.
