Hakim to perform at Arab championship’s opening ceremony

CAIRO – 22 July 2017: Renowned folk-singer Hakim will perform at the Arab Club Championship opening ceremony Saturday evening at the Alexandria Stadium.

As many as 10 thousand fans are expected to turn up at the opening ceremony, with the attendance of high-profile Arab figures.

Egypt hosts Arab Club Championship from July 22 to August 5 in Cairo and Alexandria;12 Arab clubs will compete to win the title.

Egyptian giants will be boosted by 7,000 of their supporters accompanying them along the journey, officials in the organizing committee announced.

Al-Ahly opens their participation in Arab Club Championship facing Al-Faisaly at Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo; Al-Ahly fans will gather to support the team in their opening match.
