CAIRO, March 19, 2024: The Egyptian fans are awaiting the date of the match between the Egyptian national team and New Zealand, as it witnesses the first friendly appearance of the Pharaohs under the leadership of Hossam Hassan, who took over the task from the Portuguese Rui Vitoria.
The Egyptian national team's match against New Zealand will be held at 10 pm on Friday at Misr Stadium in the New Capital, and the match is scheduled to be broadcast live on the On Time Sports channel.
Sports United organizes the first edition of the ACUD Cup, to be held in Cairo between 22 and 26 March 2024 with the participation of Egypt, Croatia, Tunisia and New Zealand.
The organizing committee of the New Capital Cup, hosted by Egypt, with the participation of Croatia, New Zealand and Tunisia, alongside the Pharaohs, agreed to go to penalty kicks directly if the full time of the matches ends in a tie.
Egypt will play only two matches in the friendly tournament, the first will be against the New Zealand national team, while the second match will be against one of the two sides of the second match, the Croatia and Tunisia national teams, and it will be to determine the winner of first place, if the Egyptian national team wins over New Zealand in the first match.
