Cairo, 19 February 2024: Champion Egyptian swimmer Farida Othman won a bronze medal in the 50-meter butterfly at the World Aquatics Championships, which took place in Doha, Qatar, from February 2–18.
It was an incredible historical accomplishment for Farida to earn her third bronze at the world championships with a timing of 25.67 seconds.
Farida Othman finished third in the semi-final qualifiers with a time of 25.80 seconds, which qualified her for the 50-meter butterfly final.
