The Egyptian national team will play Cap Verde in the third and final round of the group stage of the tournament's second group matches on Monday at ten o'clock in the evening at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
The Egyptian national team enters today's match in second place in the second group matches with two points, while the Cape Verde national team is at the top of the group with 6 points, and the Ghana and Mozambique national teams are in third and fourth place, respectively, with a point for each team.

The Egyptian national team will lose the efforts of its captain, Mohamed Salah, during today’s match against Cape Verde, due to a strain in the posterior muscle, which he suffered in the last match with Ghana. Salah will return to Liverpool to continue his treatment.
