Shikabala and Mohamed Ibrahim in danger of leaving Zamalek

CAIRO – 20 July 2017: Farouk Gaafar, Zamalek’s board technical advisor, gave Zamalek President Mortada Mansour the list of 10 players that need to be released from the team on July 19.

Farouk Gaafar and Mortada Mansour met earlier this week and decided that 10 players need to be released from the team. Then, on July 19, Zamalek veteran player Farouk Gafaar gave a list recommending that the following players leave: Shikabala, Mohamed Ibrahim, Mayouka, Salah Rico, Ahmed Gaafar, Ibrahim Salah, Islam Gamal, Osama Ibrahim, Shawki El Saied and Ali Fathy.

The members of Zamalek’s board will sit with Augusto Inacio, Zamalek’s coach, to take the final decision on who will stay and who will leave.

Zamalek SC are looking to rebuild their team once again, after being knocked out from the CAF Champions League and coming in third in the Egyptian League.
