Puilis elated with Hegazi’s signing

CAIRO – 19 July 2017 Tunis Pulis, West Bromwich manager, spoke on July 17 about signing the Egyptian international defender Ahmed Hegazy.

Pulis talked about the deal and how the 26-year-old defender will be an important addition to the club.

Pulis said to the club’s website, "we're pleased he's here, he's a good addition. He's got good pedigree and has played for some good clubs. Hopefully he'll be a good signing for us.”

Pulis added to the club’s website, "with it being a loan and, if he does well, we've already agreed a final deal. It's really, really good for us."

The club’s chairman also talked to the club’s website saying, “Hegazi caught our eye in the last African Cup of Nations.”

Al Ahly’s former defender helped Al Ahly team win the Egyptian League title along with coming second place with the Egyptian national team in the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
