The Arab Junior Judo Championship kicked off on Tuesday in New Alamein with the participation of 600 young Judokas representing 18 Arab nations.
The competitions will continue till 18 August and is expected to witness some great performances from some of the best talents in the Arab nation.
"Some of the top talents in the Arab region are taking part in the championship and we are expecting high level of competition between the participants." Marzouk Ali, head of the Egyptian Judo Federation and vice-president of the Arab Judo Federation, stated.
Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, head of the Arab Judo Federation, held a meeting on Monday to discuss all the details related to the organization of the championship.
The competitions will be held at New Alamein
hall.
