Pires arrives in Cairo for Medical Tourism campaign

CAIRO - 19 July 2017: Robert Pires, former French international, arrived to Cairo Wednesday morning to participate in the Egyptian campaign “Tour n’ Cure.”

Tour n’ Cure is an Egyptian medical tourism initiative that offers Hepatitis C patients from all over the world the opportunity to be treated at reasonable prices and with no wait time.

The treatment programs, with locations in Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh, offers packages that include visiting historic places, a stay beautiful 5-star hotels and recreation activities to enjoy the beauty of Egypt.

The initiative is expected to attract millions of tourists to visit Egypt, as over one million patients were treated in 2016 according to the campaign’s official website.

Tour n’ Cure has hosted many big names in football in Cairo, including one of the best players in the history, Lionel Messi.

Robert Pires is a former International footballer who won the UEFA EURO 2000 with France. He played most of his career with English giant, Arsenal where he won two Premier League titles and two FA Cup titles.
