Badry speaks ahead of Arab Championship

CAIRO – 19 July 2017: Hossam el-Badry, Al-Ahly coach, spoke to Al-Ahly’s official website on July 18 following Al-Ahly’s win over Zamalek SC. He spoke about his team’s chances in the upcoming Arab Championship that will held in July.

“Al-Ahly will enter the tournament focused and determined to win it. I have great confidence in my team and my players to win the tournament,” Badry told Al-Ahly’s website.

“The strong competition in this tournament is a great opportunity to make the team prepare for the upcoming matches in the CAF Champions League. It will also be a great opportunity to give more play time to all the players on the team,” Badry added to Al-Ahly’s website.

“The tournament has a lot of big clubs, and I believe that there will be a strong competition among all the teams. Lastly, I hope that we win the tournament in order to make our fans gratified.”

Al-Ahly managed to win this year’s league title and will be looking to compete in the upcoming Arab Club Championship and the CAF Champions League.
The Arab Club Championship will be held in Egypt from July 22 to August 6.
