CAIRO, June 11, 2023: Al Ahly’s coach, Marcel Koller, has settled on the formation that will play against Wydad Casablanca in the second leg of the African Champions League final.
The match is set to be held at 10:00 PM CLT on the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
Al-Ahly seeks to confirm its superiority and crown the eleventh title against Wydad in the CAF Champions League final.
The expected formation of Al-Ahly:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El Shenawy
Defense: Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Yasser Ibrahim, Ali Maaloul
Middle: Alieu Dieng, Hamdi Fathi, Marwan Attia
Attack: Percy Tau, Hussein Al-Shahat, Kahraba
Al Ahly was able to secure a valuable 2-1 victory over Wydad in the first leg match that was held at Cairo Stadium last Sunday, June 4.
Al Ahly goals came through Percy Tau and Mahmoud Kahraba. While Wydad scored through Seif El-Din Bohra.
Al Ahly previously met with Moroccan Wydad Casablanca in 12 matches. The Reds managed to win in 5 games and drew in four and lost in three matches.
