CAIRO, 13 December 2022: Al-Ahly and Zamalek were put in two tough groups in the 2023 CAF Champions League.
Al-Ahly came in the second group, accompanied by the South African Mamelodi Sundowns, the Sudanese Al Hilal, and the Cameroonian Cotton.
While Zamalek fell into a purely Arab group, the fourth next to Tunisian Esperance, Algerian Belouizdad Youth and Sudanese Al Mareekh.

The first round matches will be held on February 10 and 11, the second round on February 17 and 18, the third round on February 24 and 25, the fourth round on March 6 and 7, the fifth round on March 17 and 18, and the sixth round on March 31 and April 1.
