Recap of Al-Ahly vs. Zamalek matches

CAIRO – 16 July 2017: With Al-Ahly going head to head against Zamalek on Monday July 17, Egypt Today takes an analysis of the previous matches played between Al-Ahly and Zamalek.

According to Flash Kora, Al-Ahly played against Zamalek SC on 113 occasions. Al-Ahly had the upper hand in 41 games, while Zamalek managed to win in 25 games. There were 47 draws altogether. Al-Ahly scored 137 goals against Zamalek, but Zamalek scored 98 goals against Al-Ahly.

In their last meeting Momen Zakaria scored the first goal for Al-Ahly, and Junior Ajayi scored the second goal ending that game 2-0.

Al-Ahly is the current league champions, and they will face club rivals Zamalek SC on Monday. Zamalek came in third place in the last bracket of the Egyptian League at Borg Al-Arab Stadium.
