CAIRO - 16 July 2017: Ajax fans marched to Ajax youngster Abdel Hak Nouri’s home to support his family after the news mentioned he has irrevocable brain damage.
The team released an official tweet that says, “Ajax are deeply saddened by the news that Appie Nouri has been diagnosed with serious and permanent brain damage. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his loved ones in this difficult time.”
Nouri received huge support from the football family.
Luis Suarez, Barcelona striker, put a photo with Nouri when he was playing at Ajax, and wrote, “Very sorry because of what happened with Appie; we are with you. Stay strong.”
Robin Van Persie, Dutch striker, showed support to Nouri, writing on his Twitter account, “Devastating news about Abdel Hak Nouri. I wish him and his family all the strength in the world.”
Abdel Hak Nouri, 20, suffered from cardiac arrhythmias during a pre-season friendly match against Werder Bremen last Sunday.
