Federer in the final again – Wimbledon Twitter
CAIRO – 15 July: Roger Federer beat Tomas Berdych on Friday 3-0 to reach the Wimbledon final. Federer will face Marin Cilic in the finals, who won against Sam Querrey in the semifinal.
"I feel very privileged to be in another final. I can't believe its true," Federer told the press after the semifinal victory.
Federer won the match 7-6, 7-6, 6-4 to continue his amazing run in the tournament.
Marin Cilic won 3-1 over Sam Querrey in the other semifinal. Querrey won the first set 7-6, but Cilic succeeded to win 3 consecutive sets 6-4, 7-6 and 7-5.
"It's unbelievable. I have played really well from the start of the tournament; I'm feeling positive on the court. It's extremely important. My emotions are helping me a little bit," Cilic told the press after the match. Federer reached the 11th Wimbledon Final. He won seven finals of ten on the grass courts. Fedrerer will try to add the eighth Wimbledon title on Sunday when he faces Marin Cilic.
