CAIRO – 15 July 2017: Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp, spoke on July 14 about Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah’s performance.

Mohamed Salah managed to score in his first match on July 15 with Liverpool against Wigan. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Klopp talked about Salah’s defensive performance with Liverpool along with the goal he scored in his first match.

Klopp told the club’s official website, "He had absolutely no idea how we defend usually, so he was not really involved in this and was like 'oh my god.”

Klopp continued on Liverpool’s website, "He was with us for two day, then had to go to Paris to get the papers, then he came back and we thought 'let's play.”

Klopp concluded to Liverpool’s website saying, "But you could tell he is used to a completely different way of defending. Of course, first situation, nice sprint and then the goal was maybe the easiest thing in the game, but they played wonderful football."

Liverpool FC is set to travel to Hong Kong to participate in a pre-season tournament at the end of July.
